Resource Description: This book is a collaboration between Involve and the NHS Centre for Involvement containing new thinking and analysis from leading thinkers on patient and public involvement in health. Contributors include Anna Coote, Harry Cayton, Angela Coulter and Albert Weale. It is aimed at a wide audience, including those who are new to the field of health involvement.

The arena of involvement in health and social care is a vitally important one, both for the long-term sustainability of our public services and for the health and well-being of individuals. Involve and the NCI hope that this publication can play a part in fostering a more durable and effective environment for involvement.
