Resource Description: This IPPR paper argues that, despite extensive policy and research attention on local e-government, there has been far too little focus on the equally if not more important issue of local edemocracy. It also argues that this is a serious omission since e-democracy tools and techniques could help local authorities to meet a series of current threats and opportunities.
